ReEnvision was founded in 2013 as a husband and wife partnership based on a persistent passion for design, and community.  We practice a holistic approach to design, meaning we strive to exceed the needs and challenges of today while also foreseeing client’s future needs, growth patterns, and goals to allow a seamless and flexible solution for tomorrow. Through the integration of architecture, interior design, and community,  ReEnvision seeks to implement uncompromised design integrity and responsibility to every project regardless of size, scope, or budget.

We created this company to fill an apparent gap in design services and give us an opportunity to believe in our work and relationships.  Having spent 10 years working for firms in Kansas City, it became apparent there is a better way to provide quality design, and impactful projects to clients without all the red tape, high fees, and managerial barriers we saw getting in the way of satisfied clients. We believe in what we do, and we do it well.  As a team, we work hand and hand to tackle your problems and bring you the best project possible.  Our diverse range of experience enables us to think outside the box on every project, challenge each other during the process and bring a unique spirit of collaboration and energy to you and your team.

WAYLON ARNDT, RA, NCARB, PARTNER

Waylon Arndt is a Co-Founder for ReEnvision.  He is a licensed Architect and graduated from the College of Architecture, Planning and Design at Kansas State University in 2003. Working with firms in Kansas City, he has garnered extensive experience across all market types throughout the Midwest and has been recognized with numerous awards and publications. In addition to his architectural background, Waylon has over 25 years' experience working with his father at Arndt & Son Construction.  He is also the owner of Blau Space Gallery in Kansas City.

His mantra:  “Design is in Details.” He expresses this through materials usage and detailing at connections. He is well versed in all styles of architecture, however, believes simplistic forms and structures, as well as regional materials and conscientious budget management, can have the greatest impact on quality design.

He keeps himself busy with many personal projects, and community involvements, including renovating his 124-year-old home and playing with his dog Bear, but his favorite is past time is the same as America’s: hanging out in left field for his architectural softball team.

MEGAN ARNDT, NCIDQ, LEED AP, PARTNER

Megan Arndt is Co-Founder of ReEnvision.  She graduated from the School of Fine Arts at Kansas University in 2007 with a degree in Fine Arts:  Interior Design.  She has received her professional certification through the National Council for Interior Design Qualifications as well as LEED certification for sustainable design through United States Green Building Council. As lead designer for an architecture firm, she gained experience across many commercial project sectors while working in the residential realm independently.

Megan enjoys the uniqueness and personality of each project and client and being able to work together to find solutions that reflect their lifestyle, image, and needs.  She can work in all design styles and has a great understanding of material properties and spatial relationships. Whether the project requires the durability and abuse resistance of a fire station or the functionality of a kitchen she puts her own touch on each space to create comfortable, thoughtful design for every project.

She believes being a designer is much more than a profession, it is a way of life.  She is an avid supporter of the arts and strives to bring culture and spirit into all of her work.  At home, she spends her time working in the garden, cooking, painting and creating paper artforms.
